Most self-promotions in advertising are lame, but this one was genius. It also helped that Alec Brownstein has a solid portfolio and good work experience. If I tried to pull that stunt, I would’ve gotten a restraining order from the CDs!

It’s just a few weeks before the Super Bowl and I got an e-mail from one of their advertisers – Flo TV. It’s a new mobile TV service. Think Hulu meets Slingbox, but live and mobile. They’re going to have three Super Bowl spots this year. One of them has The Who’s My Generation song with the Black Eyed Peas will.i.am. Hopefully it will be different than Pepsi’s Super Bowl commercial last year with Bob Dylan and will.i.am!
